I do odd things sometimes.
Tonight, due to my lack of anything to do, I browsed my DVDs and counted how many I have of each rating classification ie: G, PG, M, MA, R. What I concluded was that about 50% of my collection is rated M. PG and MA have roughly the same amount in second place and G and R trailed quite far behind. This however, is probably in proportion to the amount of DVDs out there with these ratings. I have no doubt most films are rated M. Oh by the way, I only counted movies in this experiment and not TV shows. If I were to do TV shows, I think PG would be the clear winner as most of what I watch is network stuff.
I also concluded that the way I tabulated the scores, made it look like it was doing the finger. It looked something like this
G: IIIIII PG: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII M: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII MA: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII R: IIIIII
And that's the end of that chapter.

I do stuff like that sometimes. Like just the other day I rediscovered my old collection of yowie toys and I couldn't help myself, I just had to line them up in categories. And then I had to put the categories in order from smallest to largest. Yeah I used to do that a fair bit.

Okay so I did what Jason did because I was curious to what my own collection would have:
G: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII PG: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII M: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII MA: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII R: N/A

I did it too ^_^ This is including TV series, by the way.
G: IIIIIII (7) PG: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (37) M: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (50) MA: IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (17) R: (0) E: III (3)
(E = Exempt from rating.)
Therefore:
G = 6% of my collection PG = 32% M = 44% MA = 15% R = 0% E = 3%

Woo, I started a trend! No R rated movies? How shameful

Lol. To be perfectly honest I don't think I've ever watched an R rated movie, let alone owned one. I've seen bits of Robocop, and I saw about five minutes of the remake of The Hitcher at work, but apart from that, nothing. They don't really interest me, generally.
You guys have no DVDs that are exempt from rating?
