If it weren't for Star Wars and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, then this guy would have the best movie in 3 different genres, and I've only seen three of his movies. My rankings would have to be:
Dr. Strangelove The Shining 2001: A Space Odyssey
I think that while I enjoy Dr. Strangelove and the Shining more than 2001, 2001 is technically better than both of them. Anyway, this guy is an awesome director so far.

'A Clockwork Orange' is in my top 10 films of all time. The only truly amazing and consistently amazing Kubrick film that I have personally seen.
Really did not care for 'Dr. Strangelove' or 'The Shining'. There was just something about 'Strangelove' that was impossible for me to get into. 'The Shining' just had truly appalling acting and it was really hard to, quite frankly, give a crap about what was going on when the acting sticks out like a sore thumb.
The only other one I've seen is 'Eyes Wide Shut' which is a really awesome film.

Kubrick is definitely one of my favourite directors. It's hard to rank his films as they're all so great. I'd say:
2001 > A Clockwork Orange > Dr. Strangelove > The Shining > Lolita (really underrated film)
I haven't yet seen Full Metal Jacket or Eyes Wide Shut or any of his earlier films (bar Lolita) and I really should.

My initial reaction to Dr. Strangelove was that it was an ok movie, but I loved it upon re-watch as it made a lot more sense to me, comedy and story-wise.

I haven't really seen many of these movies. I should probably get some.

Finally saw a Clockwork Orange, but it's impossible to rank them besides 2001 being the best.

SBS had a Kubrick week this week, showing a bunch of his movies. Great times were had by all.
