- "When your teacher tells you to keep your arms inside of the bus, you listen to her!" - Herman, Bart the General (referring to a scene in Bart the Genius).
- The flash over Springfield in I Don't Wanna Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, is a reference to the Season 5 episode, Cape Feare.

- "When your teacher tells you to keep your arms inside of the bus, you listen to her!" - Herman, Bart the General (referring to a scene in Bart the Genius). . In correct, it is a refrence to "Homer's Odyssey", where the teacher tells not to put their (the children's) hands out of the window, and then explains about 'the man who's arms got cut of by doing it'. "Alone Again, Natura Diddly" has been refrenced lots of times (ugh, just her RIP for once). "Kill The Alligator and Run" and "Dude Where's My Ranch", for example. There are also two 'post Maude' episodes; "I'm Goin To Praiseland" and "A Star Is Born-Again" for example. I'll think of some more later.

No, Inamon's right. They're in the bus on the way to the Nuclear Power Plant.

Hmmm, I was sure as sugar that it was from the bus scene in BTG, but I must be wrong.
