These two shows have a very similar style, and humour. They both parody, frequently divulge in pop-culture, and can be pretty offensive.
So, which show do you prefer?
Personally, I prefer Drawn Together. When they parody a cartoon character, they do it well. And what makes it even better, is that Drawn Together makes the parody look pretty much exactly the same as the original cartoon character (unless they have to alter it for copyright reasons).
When Family Guy parodies something, it sticks to it's traditional animation style (bodies rarely move, just limbs; straight, usually horizontal eye-lids, etc.). It's great that they stick to their own style when it comes to that, but it severely reduces the comedic effect.
I've never seen Family Guy do an homage to something, it's usually just a parody, or a reference. Drawn Together have subtly homaged many shows, including The Ren and Stimpy Show's unique "detailed close-ups".

Family Guy, by far. Family Guy is one of my favourite shows. Drawn Together is good, but I think it can't compare to the characters and jokes in Family Guy. Also, you've never seen FG do an homage? Have you seen 'Wasted Talent'? That has a funny Willy Wonka Parody and is one of my favourites. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

Yep, I've seen Wasted Talent. I always just considered that a parody though... But I guess it's an homage at the same time.

I'd say Family Guy.
