Has anyone listened to my favourite band, Pink Floyd? They're freaking awesome. "Wish You Were Here" and "Animals" are my favourite albums, with the former being the better. I never really got to the Syd Barett era, but I still love "The Piper at The Gates Of Dawn".

Yep, Pink Floyd are the shizz. 'Dark Side of the Moon' has some of the greatest songs of that era, and 'The Wall' is also great - although the movie was thoroughly disturbing.

I'll list my favourite Pink Floyd albums Wish You Were HereMy favourite album ever. It may only be five tracks, but it's still excellent. I love every track - some of the greatest forty minutes ever made in music. Dark Side Of The MoonMy third favourite album ever. I just love this episode; it's considered to be the best ever and I have to agree. Such an awesome, awesome album. AnimalsThis is also one of the better Floyd albums. Such progressive lyrics and a superb noise. Piper At The Gates Of DawnI didn't really like the Barret era that much, but this album is the only way I praise it. A very addictive album.

All of them are good albums, however, the only one out of these four I would choose, is Dark Side of the Moon. 'The Great Gig in the Sky' is one of the greatest things ever recorded.

"The Great Gig In The Sky" is a masterpiece. Not really by Floyd, but put anything on an album and it's excellent. The album itself.

I also love "Us and Them". Great song. Why is the movie so disturbing, exactly?

"Us and Them" is my favourite Floyd song of all time. I love every segment in it; a superb chorus, a brilliant saxaphone solo, brilliant guitar play and such a beautiful beginning. "The Wall" is just disturbing, and dark - I dunno, it just is.

I didn't like Dark Side of the Moon really. Wish You Were Here is amazing though. They're definitely a great band.

Not sure. Granted, I only listened to it once but it just didn't grab me. I loved Wish You Were Here on first listen though. I really want to get more of their stuff.

You've got to get "Animals", my sixth or so favourite album ever. "Dogs" and "Sheep" are amazing songs, but so awesomly wrong.
