This is just as good as 'Tis the Fifteenth Season; except it's slightly more professional, it's funnier, and above all else, it has some emotion.
This episode is so great, that it's among my favourite episodes from the classic seasons.

I really liked this episode. 'Mother Simpson' has become one of my favourite episodes, and this is another really good episode featuring Homers Mother.
