I'm making a short scene I thought while watching "Much Apu About Nothing". Enjoy.
Moe, & Apu
SCENE: Kwik E Mart, where he is depressed. Marge is purchasing some groceries.
Apu: (down a mood) Thank you, please come again... (sighs)
Marge: What's wrong, Apu?
Apu: I'm... just feeling down today. Just... down.
Marge: But it's Tuesday. That's when the business really flies.
Apu: (shouting) It's not the business, Mrs. Simpson! Please come again!
Marge, who decides not to waste Apu's time, leaves the Kwik-E-Mart, and comes into the car, where the rest of the family is.
Homer: Did you get the cake?
Marge: Yes, I got the cake.
Homer: Is it cake?
Marge: Yes, it is cake. Homer, I want you to go up to Apu. He's depressed.
Homer: He's always depressed. I've always seen him depressed. Most of the time. Alright, Marge. I'll see what Apu's trouble is this time.
Bart: Go cheer that Indian fellow.
Homer goes to the Kwik E Mart.
Homer: Apu, you've got to gimme some cake!
Apu: Just shut up, I've got so many problems I don't know if I have any.
Homer: Alright, Apu.
Long pause.
Apu: Oh, what the hey. Mr. Simpson, a customer said I was not fit enough for the shopkeeping. But how can I improve? Eh, I've done everything right.
Homer: Wrong. You've done everything right, except one thing. Be able to give a toilet.
Apu: There's one over there.
Homer: (groans) Why did I have to go to the mall? Even the toilets there are closed!
Apu: Look, you've got to help me. I'm so down. So down. Is there a way you can help me teach shopkeeping skills?
Homer: (pause) Gimme a second!
Homer goes outside, just outside the door of the Kwik E Mart.
Homer: Okay. Who should I tell?
Homer's Brain: Don't look at me, I'm not your brain.
Homer: Thanks a lot.
Scene moves back to the Kwik E Mart
Apu: Let's hope he manages to show some intellegence for once.
Homer: Apu, I got it! We'll go to Moe's for me to figure it out.

It's not humour heavy, but hey.
