Tell us here.

My Monster theory:
I don't know what the Monster is, nor do I know how or why it does what it does, but I think it is capable of recording all of a person's memories and then interpreting and projecting them back to the person in question, to 'test' them. It operates on a three-meeting basis:
First meeting = records their memories Second meeting = assesses wether they deserve to live Third meeting = kills them (if it decided that they don't deserve to live).
Examples: Eko - Saw the monster and it recorded his memories, as shown by the flashes as the camera panned through the smoke. It then presented itself to him as Yemi and decided wether he deserved to live or not. Apparently deciding the negative, it then tracked him down and killed him. Kate - Must have met her originally at some point to record her memories. Appeared in the form of the horse that helped her escape Edward Mars and must have decided to spare her. Ben - Appeared to him as a child and recorded his memories. Manifested as his mother and appeared to him but it is unclear what it decided as it could not get past the sonar fence. Locke - Met him early in season 1 and either recorded his memories then or manifested as something from his past. Late season 1 tried to kill him but failed. Hasn't been back for him, so perhaps it changed its mind? Shannon - Must have pre-recorded because it appeared as Walt. Did not personally kill her but perhaps contributed by projecting the Whispers to Ana-Lucia.
The Monster has also recorded memories from Juliet, but we have yet to see anything come of it.

How about Jacob? What's going on there? Do you reckon that Jacob is related to Frank (aka the monster)? And don't get me started on the whispers....

I'm really curious to find out about Jacob! I have no idea what's going on there.
And, is Richard Alpert aging at all?

And, is Richard Alpert aging at all? Yeah, I'm 98% sure that he isn't. Ben even made reference to it at the start the Dharma flashback ep, when telling Richard that it's his birthday, he asked if he even remembered birthdays, or something like that.

No idea about Jacob.
As for Alpert, I think, somehow, the Others have control over ageing. Eg. Richard Alpert hasn't aged, while Walt aged considerably. (We know, in real life, this was because Malcolm David Kelley had a growth spurt, but the writers said they are yet to explain this storyline-wise.)
And the Whispers brings me to my theory about the Island's electronegativity: Prior to being destroyed by the Hatch's implosion, there was obviously at least one core of electronegative energy on the island, which was presumably located right next to the Swan station. There are several important factors relating to this: - As explained in the show, the electronegativity of the core charges up and has to be dispelled every 108 minutes. Desmond failed to do this once and caused the plane to crash. - Compasses do not function properly on the Island. - Electronegative waves are also used for therapeutic healing in real life, which could put some truth to the Australian healer's theory of 'healing spots' all over the world; therefore, the Island is the specific 'healing spot' for both Locke, who regained the use of his legs, and Rose, whose cancer seemed to disappear. Also possibly the 'healing spot' for Claire, who was able to give birth on the Island and live. - Additionally, there is a science fiction novel (whose title and author I don't know of) that discusses the theory of electronegative souls remaining on Earth after people have died. If this storyline carries through to the show (because we know JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelof are BIG sci-fi fans) then it is possible that the electronegative souls of those who die on the Island are being trapped on the Island by the electronegative force around the Island which is projected by the electronegative core. These e-negative souls, in my mind, are the cause of the Whispers; they are those of the deceased trying to communicate with their relatives or friends - apparently, right before Shannon is shot in Season 2, the loudest Whisper says, 'Hi, sis,' suggesting Boone. Obviously, all of these factors are no longer in effect due to the Hatch's (and the e-negative core's) implosion.
