I'm like that with the Kraken in the second one. Dead Man's Chest is my favourite out of the three.

Really? DMC is my least favourite... not that I don't like it. It's my third-favourite movie of all time But for me, AWE beats CotBP by a poofteenth, and DMC comes closely after that.

The first one is good, but I don't really like the sequels that much. Should have stopped after one.

My favourite by far is the first one, but all three are up there in my favourite movies of all time.

D: ! Why don't you like Pirates? Ehh.... I just really hate them (no offense or anything). Usually I like Johnny Depp, he was excellent in Ed Wood and I enjoyed him as Sweeney Todd, but although the character he plays in this movie is a drunk, he just comes off as unintentionally drunk and obnoxious and...I just can't stand it. As far as the rest of the movies go, I think they're not funny enough to be among the likes of Action/Adventure comedies such as 'The Princess Bride', and I just don't think it's adventure-y enough to be on the same level as the brilliant 'Lord of the Rings', 'Harry Potter' or even the 'Narnia' series. Although, yeah, that's just what I think of them, you have every right and reason to like them, just like I do with my horror movies! I guess you could also argue that I'm too much of a horror movie freak to appreciate the Pirates movies... although then again, I do love loads of Disney movies.

Lol it's cool, I'm not going to take offence because you don't like a movie that I do. I have to disagree with you on the action and comedy front (since there's a fair amount of it), but if you dislike the characters and the way the movie's written then that's entirely fair enough. There are awful rumors floating around at the moment regarding the Pirates series... I'm fairly sure they're going ahead with Pirates 4 (BAH!) and, to make it worse, the rumors are saying that they're introducing a new character who will eventually replace Jack Sparrow. That implies that a. there will be MORE than four Pirates movies (DOUBLE BAH!) and b. Johnny Depp will be leaving the series. But worst of all... THEY'RE SAYING ZAC EFRON WILL PLAY THE NEW CHARACTER.*kills self*

If Zac Efron joins the Pirates cast, then I'm not watching the new movies.

If Zac's in it I'll still watch them, but with this exact expression on my face:

Working at 6am, finishing at 1pm, then going to a Halloween party at 7pm, most likely absolutely rooted from work. But I'll still be partying hard-ish and trying to convince people to go trick-or-treating with me.
