I totally have a hard-on for this dude at the moment
My favourite is definitely North By Northwest. It has a great storyline with wonderful humour and it basically pioneered the whole action-adventure genre. Next would have to be Psycho, it's absolutely frightening and fantastic. I'd probably put Vertigo next and then Rear Window. It's amazing how awesome his movies were. I'm working on seeing them all, only about 30 to go!

I'm gonna have to go Psycho. I also like The Birds and Dial M For Murder.
Nice opening line there too.

I've only seen Vertigo and Rear Window so far, but they have both been awesome, with Vertigo having the slight upper hand. Next I'll see North by Northwest and Psycho.

Btw, I reccommend you see the original Psycho and then the remake with Vince Vaughn. It's not as good, but it's not bad; I found it interesting just to see two different... perspectives, if you like.

Psycho is truly incredible, though it does frighten the bajeezus out of me so I don't watch it often. North by Northwest is the most rewatchable Hitchcock movie for me, it's just really entertaining

Psycho is truly scary, but it doesn't scare me enough to stop me watching it, lol. That's a good thing, though, since it's such a brilliant film.
Jason, your avy is great.

I've heard that that Vince Vaughn Psycho is really bad.

I didn't think it was awful, but not brilliant either. I liked the different, more modern take on it.

Well I finally saw Psycho. Man is Hitchcock great, all of his movies that I've seen have been A+ material. Would've rented Rope today, but my rental store didn't have it so I'll have to check the library. Anyway, my rankings so far would be: North by Northwest > Vertigo > Psycho > Rear Window

My problem with the Psycho remake is that it's basically exactly the same as the original. The dialogue is almost exactly the same, as are the shots. It's truly the most pointless remake I've ever seen. I did enjoy Vince Vaughn though, it was interesting to see him play something other than the typical comedy good guy thing.
My rankings of the films I've seen: North by Northwest Psycho Vertigo Rear Window Rope Strangers On A Train The Birds The Man Who Knew Too Much Dial M For Murder Frenzy
All are awesome though. I was surprised how good Frenzy was, considering it was his second last film. It was his only film (to my knowledge) to include profanity and nudity as it was released soon after the ratings system came into place.

Psycho's one of the greatest horror films in history, a terrifying one too (although it doesn't scare me that much anymore).
Psycho > Dial 'M' For Murder > The Birds
