Doubt Meh, it was okay. The acting was top notch but the story just didn't do it for me. I found myself bored at times, and I didn't really care about what happened. Honestly, this film just seemed like typical Oscar fodder to me. It was nothing new, or interesting. B-

Meet Dave I was not expecting to like this at all. To my surprise, I actually really enjoyed it. Aw man I gotta disagree with you there. But to each his own

It was very over the top at points, like with the stereotypically gay guy on the ship that likes musicals, or that toilet scene (why must there be toilet scenes in all these films? It's so cliche and wasn't even funny to begin with) but overall I thought it was very funny.

City of God This is an amazing film, technically. The direction is outstanding, the editing was so good and the actors (most of which were complete unknowns) were fantastic. I honestly cannot think of any flaws this film had. I'm rating it based on my personal enjoyment of the film and I'm giving it an A-

The Visitor This was a wonderful film anchored by the understated performance of Richard Jenkins who may best be known as John C. Reilly's father in Step Brothers. It was also very touching at times, but often uplifting. This was indeed a good movie. A

Choke This is the second film I've seen that is adapted from a Chuck Palahniuk novel. The first of course being Fight Club. This shared some similar themes with Fight Club, with scenes involving a support group and a twist at the end that I didn't see coming. The film was mediocre at times with flashes of greatness, but mostly it was fairly good. I loved the soundtrack which featured bands such as Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Radiohead, the latter of which was used as the final song in the film which worked pretty effectively. There was some good performances, namely by Kelly MacDonald (No Country For Old Men) who was terrific. Overall I'd say this was a good film but not a great film. B+

Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay This did not reach the comedic heights of the first film but it was still a lot of fun. I enjoyed Neil Patrick Harris once again, he's probably my favourite character from the two films. Certain parts annoyed me, such as basically everything to do with the US Government. The complete idiocy of the organization was unbelievable and unfunny. Some of my favourite sequences were the more out there insane ones such as the gun shootout in the sky, and the bit with that cyclops child of the Alabama couple. This was a good film but definitely not up to the standard of the first. B+

Disaster Movie Fantastic! I wasn't expecting to like it at all but I thought it was wonderful, much better than Epic Movie and Date Movie. There was some great performances especially by the woman playing Juno. Just great. I say you should all see this movie, you'd be surprised by how good it is.
Okay, no. This was a huge pile of shit. I would rather be teabagged by Larry King for 2 hours then watch this turdfuck again. None of this "film" made any sense, the "parodies" were so loosely connected, it was more like watching the sketch show from hell. There was absolutely no wit present in any of the "jokes", most of which were just the same thing over and over. The "acting" was terrible, the original songs were so fucking bad that they'd probably go to #1. I wish that memory eraser thing in Men In Black existed so I could wipe this piece of fuck from my brain. F-
